AMAGIDDEONS! We are a rising, multi-talented group with two founding members: - Dwayne Cole aka Giddeon, and Andrea Cole aka Honey Bee both hail from St Catherine - Portmore & Spanish Town respectively.
We are DJs, Singers, Songwriters,
Aspiring Clothes Designers & Chefs.
Giddeon was raised in Portmore went to Bridgeport Primary & High School, where he found his first love Music! Having his first musical confrontations where he won some and lost some all in good nature while sharpening his craft!
At age 19 he went to Garmex Academy pursuing a career in Fashion Designing
and made a move to Sandy Bay Clarendon. A lover of Soccer, Reggae Music along with all other genres, and a yute in the streets! Always in the streets hustling and singing!
While Honey Bee went to Spanish Town Primary and then on to St Catherine High School. Honey Bee, discovered her love for music from an early age, always singing when she should be cleaning, and also was on her church youth choir! Music is engraved on her soul! She loves music and it always gets her to her happy place! She has eclectic taste when it comes on to music, appreciating music from almost all the genres!
Our roots are very deeply entrenched in Reggae Music. While we love Rap, Hip-Hop, R&B, & Alternative, Reggae Music is our first and favorite love.
Back in di day, as children, we used to beat our desks and whatever surface or object that gives us the sound we were looking for and sing our favorite songs! As we got older, we used to make a lot of noise in the shower (we thought it sounded so good!) Still do!! Lol!
We have performed at school concerts and singing competitions, freestyle battles, and have been featured artists at parties!
Leaving Jamaica to Queens New York seeking greener grass with music on our minds, destiny brought us together where Giddy and Honey Bee met at a Restaurant where we both worked!
One night while at work cleaning,
just like when we were younger, we had a battle singing our favorite songs from our favorite artists! The battle gets hot! Giddy gets slapped! Honey Bee came away victorious! From ever since we take on the battle as Amagiddeon Souljahs together!
Since then as husband and wife, we have grown to be the artists we are today, with many influences such as - Bob Marley, Buju Banton, Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Garnet Silk, Capleton, Sizzla, Beres Hammond, Lutan Fyah, Jah Cure And I Wayne. Our sounds are similar to Taurus Riley, Morgan Heritage & Chronixx.
We endeavor to be THE BEST in everything we do. Going forth with Naturally Positive Vibes, Reality, and a likkle bit a DanceHall rudeness to spice it up of course!!!! We have released our first Ep titled SOULJAHS and a few singles, with more to be released in the coming months, and we are working on the release of our album.
